Preparation Time:  20 minutes
Cooking Time:  10 minutes
Course: salads
Cusine: north american

Ingredients

Fresh Mozzarella (24 oz.) rinsed and separated
4 boxes, Mueller's tri color rotini (that's 48 oz.) use whatever pasta and however much you want. Cooked, drained and cooled
2 pints fresh grape tomatoes washed and cut in half
1 bunch fresh basil washed and cut into a chiffonade - if you don't have a very sharp knife, just rip the basil into small pieces.  You don't want to bruise it with a dull knife.
2/3 c. balsamic vinegar
2/3 c. extra virgin olive oil
4 cloves garlic minced very fine.

Directions

Combine the first four ingredients in a large covered container.

In a jar with a screw top lid, combing the last three ingredients.  Shake vigorously to combine, then pour over the pasta salad. Chill for at least an hour to let flavors combine.  Take out of the fridge about 20 minutes before serving.

This was so simple and delicious, but it was probably the most expensive salad I've ever made... (worth every penny, however.) Size up, down, play with the amount of ingredients.  The measurements do not matter at all in this recipe.  Do what you love.
