Ingredients

1 can garbanzo beans (aka chickpeas)
2-3 tablespoons tehina paste (pureed sesame seeds)
1/4 cup olive oil
1 clove garlic, grated
1 tablespoon lemon juice

Directions

  1. Drain garbanzo beans and reserve about half the liquid.
  2. Combine beans, tehina, olive oil, garlic, and lemon juice in a food processor.
  3. Blend until smooth.

Serve as dip with warm pita bread, pita or tortilla chips, or raw vegetables.
